Alumni Weekend Event Submission Form

For inclusion in Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 marketing materials and master calendar, please provide the following information. If this is a revision of a previous submission, please check the appropriate box below. Please note: The UM Alumni Association reserves the right to edit and/or decline content as necessary for the various marketing pieces. Submitting content does not guarantee inclusion in Alumni Weekend marketing materials. A UM Alumni Association representative will contact the event coordinator to further discuss submissions.

Please indicate whether this is a newly submitted form or a revision to a past submission. If a revision, please indicate changes/updates to previous submissions in the revision section below.

Affinity Group Events: student organizations, societies, or any group within the UM community that would like to form a reunion or market a gathering during Alumni Weekend and Homecoming (not including Alumni Avenue).
School and College Programs: organized by various academic units and provide opportunities for attendees to gather and/or learn about the new and exciting trends in their school or college.
Alumni Avenue: Not sure how to go about planning your event? Be a part of Alumni Avenue and leave the planning to us! Alumni Avenue is where alumni and guests from all graduation years, areas of study, and various affinity groups gather and celebrate UM Homecoming traditions. Groups on the avenue are responsible for outreach and guiding guests to us to RSVP.

Please Note: The Office of Alumni Relations is unable to collect RSVPs or payment for events other than Alumni Avenue participating groups, however, we are happy to review our best practices with you to make your RSVP collection a smooth process for both you and the participants.

Marketing and Publicity

Please check all publicity methods you are using to promote your event.

Please check the alumni publication(s) you would like your listing to appear. Brochure space is limited, and submissions are subject to approval and may be edited for content/length.

Please Note: The office of Alumni Relations requires a proof of all material containing the above images prior to distribution. In an effort to maintain consistency in our marketing, Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2015 images may not be altered and the consistency and integrity of the image must be maintained.

All submissions for the Alumni Weekend and Homecoming brochure must be received on or before Monday, June 22, 2015. Additionally, no new content will be accepted for the Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2015 website after Monday, October 26, 2015.
