Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 Submission Form

Thank you for submitting your event/activity for potential inclusion in Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 marketing materials and campus master calendar.

If you selected revision, please indicate changes/updates to previous submissions only in the revision section below, referencing the event name.

If you are an affinity group that wishes to have a space on Alumni Avenue, please check both boxes.

*Affinity: student organizations, societies, or groups within the UM community that would like to form a reunion or promote a gathering held between November 3-6, 2016. This is also the box to check if you would like to chair a class reunion that is not in a milestone year (50th and 10th).
Alumni Avenue: Request a space and leave the event planning to us! Alumni Avenue is a block-party style event where all alumni and guests and 40+ affinity groups gather lakeside during Friday night Homecoming traditions. Groups are responsible for outreach and guiding guests to RSVP to secure a space.

Event Details

Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 marketing materials only promote events and activities taking place between November 3-6. If you have additional events outside of this date range, we can provide a link to your website for more information.

Please include the building name and address, be as specific as possible. For example Newman Alumni Center, Executive Conference Room at 6200 San Amaro Drive, Coral Gabeles, FL 33146

In 150 words or less please provide a description outlining what the event is(description may be edited for length as necessary).

Please Note: The Office of Alumni Relations is unable to collect RSVPs or payment for events other than Alumni Avenue participating groups, however, we are happy to review our best practices with you to help your RSVP process run smoothly for both you and your invited guests.

Marketing and Publicity

Please check the publicity methods you are using to promote your event.

Please check the alumni publication(s) you would like your listing to appear. Brochure space is limited. Submissions are subject to approval and may be edited for content/length.

Please Note: The Office of Alumni Relations requires a proof of all material containing Alumni Weekend and Homecoming branding prior to distribution. Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 images may not be altered and the consistency and integrity of the image must be maintained.

For inclusion in the Alumni Weekend and Homecoming brochure, preliminary information must be received on or before Monday, June 1, 2016. Additionally, no new content will be accepted for the Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2016 website after Friday, September 2, 2016.

UM Alumni Association staff is available to assist with outreach, marketing, and program planning.

Please note: The UM Alumni Association reserves the right to edit and/or decline content as necessary. Submitting content does not guarantee inclusion in all marketing materials.
