About Michael Pete J. Piechoski, B.B.A. '76
Mr. Pete Piechoski is Senior Vice President and chief financial officer for Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc., a $10 billion company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. One of North America's largest construction and engineering organizations, Kiewit serves a variety of markets, including transportation, water, heavy civil, power, oil, gas, chemical, building, and mining. The firm was named to the 2011 list of North American Top Companies for Leaders.

Prior to working for Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc., Mr. Piechoski worked as an International Cost Manager for Abbott Laboratories (1980-1983); and as a Staff Auditor for Arthur Anderson (1976 - 1978). Mr. Piechoski is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Miami, Florida in 1976, and a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University in 1979.

Mr. Piechoski has served on various Boards including: US Bobsled & Skeleton Federation, University of Miami President's Council, US Bank Advisory Board of Omaha, Nebraska; the Omaha Community Foundation; United Way of the Midlands; the Omaha Children's Museum; the College World Series of Omaha, Nebraska, and Marian Catholic High School. Mr. Piechoski and his wife Jeri have two children. Alexandra is a graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Engineering and Bradley is a graduate of the University of Miami, with a degree in Engineering. Both currently work for Kiewit.
